About Christopher Lauretani
Christopher Lauretani is a licensed Physical Therapist in New York and Connecticut with more than 20 years of experience in sports medicine, orthopedic rehabilitation, and performance training. He is the Owner and President of Symmetry Physical Therapy & Wellness, an independently owned outpatient practice that has served Westchester County for over two decades.
Chris holds advanced certifications as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association, a Board Certified Ergonomics Evaluation Specialist (CEES), a Certified Kinesio Taping Practitioner (CKTP), and a Titleist Performance Institute Golf Medical Professional (TPI CGFI). His expertise spans clinical care, sports performance, ergonomics, and injury prevention, making him a trusted resource for athletes, organizations, and corporations alike.
He began his career as a Physical Therapist with the Philadelphia 76ers of the NBA, after graduating from Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Allied Health Professions. Since then, Chris has served as Head Physical Therapist for both the New Jersey Pride and New York Lizards of Major League Lacrosse, as On-Set Physical Therapist for Spike TV’s Pros vs. Joes (Season 4), and is currently Team Physical Therapist for Westchester Soccer Club (USL League One). In addition, he serves as an Inspector for the New York State Athletic Commission, where he oversees athlete health and safety at professional boxing and MMA events, including UFC and Bellator.
Chris’s expertise has been recognized nationally. He has been invited to speak at conferences on rehabilitation, sports performance, and healthcare management, and he has contributed digital content on injury prevention and athletic performance for multiple organizations. He also served on the 2013 U.S. Golf Open Wellness Team, providing care to elite golfers competing on one of the sport’s biggest stages.
Over the years, Chris has worked with numerous entertainers, athletes, and media professionals, including the Radio City Rockettes, the Alvin Ailey dance company, cast members of Saturday Night Live, the Regis and Kelly Show, and executives from ESPN, NFL, HBO Sports and NBC News. His former patients have included legendary figures such as Hank Aaron, Reggie Jackson, and Joe Frazier, among others.
In 2010, Chris received the Westchester Business Council’s “Rising Stars: 40 Under 40” award for his leadership and impact in healthcare. With a career spanning clinical excellence, professional sports, corporate wellness, and media, he continues to integrate rehabilitation, performance, and education to help athletes and patients achieve their highest potential.

About Tyler Haims
Tyler earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Binghamton University, building a strong foundation in human anatomy, movement science, and evidence-based rehabilitation. He went on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine Georgia, where he refined his clinical skills and developed a passion for functional, patient-centered care.
Since joining Symmetry Physical Therapy in 2022, Tyler has advanced into the role of Clinical Supervisor, overseeing clinical quality, mentoring staff, and ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care. His treatment approach blends manual therapy, corrective exercise, and movement education, tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Tyler works with a wide range of patients, from athletes and weekend warriors to post-surgical cases and those managing chronic pain, helping them achieve meaningful and lasting improvements.
Outside the clinic, Tyler is a avid Yankees fan and enjoys spending his free time at baseball games, golfing, and attending concerts. He brings that same enthusiasm and energy into his leadership and his work with patients, contributing to a positive and motivating environment at Symmetry.

About Talia Crystal
Talia Crystal, PT, MSPT, OCS, CMPT, is a Senior Physical Therapist at Symmetry Physical Therapy. With more than 17 years of clinical experience, she has worked extensively with both non-operative and post-surgical orthopedic and sports-related conditions. As a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist, Talia enjoys treating a wide variety of patients, including recreational athletes, active older adults, and individuals managing complex spinal dysfunction.
As a Certified Manual Physical Therapist, Talia emphasizes a hands-on treatment approach, integrating targeted manual techniques with individualized, goal-oriented exercise programs. She is a strong advocate for personalized rehabilitation, health education, and proactive injury prevention, believing these elements form the foundation of successful, long-term recovery.
Talia is dedicated to continual professional growth and regularly pursues advanced coursework to ensure her treatments remain evidence-based, effective, and aligned with current best practices. Outside the clinic, she enjoys diving into all things related to marathon running, traveling, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with her family.

About Cristina Santamaria
Cristina earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Medical College after graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Pennsylvania State University. She has a strong passion for helping individuals of all ages from young athletes to active adults and children reach their fullest potential. Her background includes international clinical experience in Italy, where she worked with a diverse range of patients in orthopedic, sports, and neurologic rehabilitation settings.
Cristina approaches each patient as a unique individual, tailoring treatment to meet their personal goals and lifestyle. She believes that everyone is an athlete in their own way whether returning to sport, staying active, or mastering everyday movements and uses that philosophy to guide her care. Known for her energy and hands-on approach, Cristina keeps her sessions engaging and motivating (she can’t sit still for long!). She’s also recognized for her ability to connect with patients on a personal level, understanding the emotional side of rehabilitation and emphasizing the powerful connection between the mind and body throughout the healing process.
Outside the clinic, Cristina is a fitness instructor at Rumble Boxing, where she coaches boxing, strength, and high-intensity training classes. She maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys running, exploring new workouts, cooking, event planning, and spending time with her family, friends, and dogs.
